Epidemiological report:

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), 7104 analyzes were carried out today and 539 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected. Of the 539 new cases, 325 are from Montevideo, 69 from Canelones, 29 from Maldonado, 27 from Rivera, 21 from Salto, 11 from San José, 9 from Durazno, 8 from Florida, 7 from Colonia, 6 from Rocha, 6 from Tacuarembó, 5 from Cerro Largo, 5 from Paysandú, 4 from Soriano, 3 from Artigas, 3 from Lavalleja and 1 from Treinta y Tres. In all cases, strict epidemiological monitoring is carried out.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 859,227 tests have been processed and 42,667 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 36,178 have already been recovered.

Today 9 deaths from Coronavirus were confirmed in our country. This is an 80-year-old patient from Durazno, a 78-year-old patient from Rivera, two patients from Canelones, 65 and 74 years old, two patients from Maldonado, 88 and 75 years old, and three patients from Montevideo, 70, 92 and 97 years old. . So far there are 453 deaths from COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 6036 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 95 of them are in intensive care and none in intermediate care.

Of the total confirmed positive cases, 2428 correspond to health personnel. 2,077 of them have already recovered, 347 are suffering from the disease and 4 have died.

As of today in the 19 departments there are active cases.
