JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has received a report on allegations of corruption and/or money laundering with the reported party Gibran Rakabuming Raka and his younger brother Kaesang Pangarep.

The party who reported the two children of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to the KPK was a lecturer at the Jakarta State University (UNJ) who is also an activist 98, Ubedilah Badrun.

In his report, Ubedilah suspected that there were acts of corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN) when the two president’s children formed a joint company with a high-ranking subsidiary of PT SN in February 2019.

According to Ubedilah, the alleged KKN was very clearly involving Gibran, Kaesang, and the son of a high-ranking PT SM officer because of an injection of capital investment funds from a venture company.

“Because it’s impossible for a new company, the president’s son gets an injection of capital investment funds from a venture company that is also networked with PT SM. Two times the funding has been disbursed. The figure is approximately Rp. 99.3 billion in the near future,” said Ubedilah at the KPK building, Monday. (10/1/2021).

Ubedilah also explained that after that, Gibran and Kaesang bought shares in a company with a fantastic figure of Rp. 92 billion, which deserves to be questioned.

“A young person who has just set up a company can easily get a capital investment with a quite fantastic figure, if he is not the president’s son,” he said.
