Again, Meri tells an exclusive preview Sister wives: one on one, whose first episode will air Sunday in America, which does not rule out a reconciliation. In the clip, Meri is also told how Kody says he doesn’t consider himself married to her. “If he wants to go ahead and marry someone else, he wouldn’t argue with me,” she says on camera at the show. “I’ve never heard him tell me that,” Meri replies.
Even though Meri and Kody’s marriage has been an issue for years, the ending is painful, she says. However, after moving to Flagstaff, things seem to be looking up for a while and the reality star says in the video that Kody leads her to believe she was “going on” at the time. She recounts, “Our first anniversary that we had here in Flagstaff was a toast to new beginnings, unlike our last anniversary where she was like, ‘I don’t even know why you called me Meri.’ She said, “We’re not married. We’re not pretending to be married.”
Meri continues: “I told him, ‘If that’s where we are, don’t you think we should discuss it publicly?’ And he said, ‘No, I don’t want to get into it. I don’t want it to go public, because I don’t want that judgement.'”
When Meri is later asked if she is still married to Kody, the Sister wivesbright star. “Well, she’s already made up her mind. You just saw him say that,” she replies.
Despite their long-term marriage falling apart, Meri says she’s still open to “making things work out”: “I would. I definitely would. But I don’t think I’m interested in that.”
