Sister: ‘Dusty out of danger’ | gossip

entertainment">Last Tuesday evening Dusty, known from Ex on the Beach, had a serious scooter accident. He has been in hospital ever since. According to his sister, he had multiple brain haemorrhages and has since undergone major brain surgery. “He was on a ventilator and was in life-threatening condition. Our good news today is that his life is in danger.” She does add that he is ‘still fighting for his life at the moment’.

entertainment">She later repeats: “He is out of danger. He’s off the ventilator. He is still on a lot of painkillers and morphine. He is no longer kept asleep, because he has to breathe on his own. So now he does that himself.”

entertainment">She explains that the family cannot respond to every expression of support because they are with Dusty for a few hours a day. “He responds to stimuli when we are there, we are really there a few hours a day to support him because it gives him a feeling of peace when we are there.” The family is also very grateful for all the support, she emphasizes. “And that you also pray for us that this boy will one day be okay. He is a strong boy and he is always very positive. Fortunately, we are also positive, but of course you always keep something in the back of your mind… But we hope he makes it and we will pull him through this as a family.”
