Britney’s sister, nine years younger, has so far consciously kept her mouth shut about the situation. She felt she couldn’t say anything about it until Britney had done so first. “It was not for me to expose this, but now that she has spoken out so clearly and said what she had to say, I can follow her lead.”

Jamie Lynn, known for her roles in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101 on All That, made the choice to be only like a sister in Britney’s life. As a result, she was unable and unwilling to talk about the case publicly. “Maybe I didn’t support her the way the public would like with a hashtag on a public platform. But I can assure you I supported my sister long before there was a hashtag, and I will support her long after.”

Britney said for the first time in public last Wednesday that she wants to get rid of the curatorship. During a hearing, the singer told the judge, among other things, that she feels “a slave” to her father. The singer also announced that she wanted to complain to her family, without naming names. “The people who did this to me shouldn’t get away with this,” Britney said.
