Sirius took on Halmstad at Studenternas IP.
The Uppsala team had the best possible start to the season.
3-0 was the final result.
Sirius kicked off Allsvenskan 2024 with a meeting against Halmstad at home at Studenternas IP.
In the 22nd minute of the match, Sirius Noel Milleskog was able to strike with a real dream goal. Two tunnels and a beautiful placement in the far corner gave Sirius 1-0. A stunningly beautiful solo performance.
An even first half was over with Sirius able to go to the break after the individually brilliant performance of Milleskog.
When the second half started, Sirius turned up the tempo and in the 56th minute was able to extend the lead to 2-0 through new acquisition Yousef Salech.
Just before the final whistle, Sirius again extended the lead to 3-0. This time through an own goal by Halmstad’s Jonathan Svedberg. A result that then stood the game out.
With the victory, Sirius got a dream start to the Allsvenskan season 2024 and continued to show off the fine form the team performed during last year’s autumn in the Allsvenskan.
