Will it eventually catch up with ChatGPT?
Last October, Apple’s head of software development said he wanted to develop Siri. The objective? Make it as good as ChatGPT while allowing it to perform practical tasks like “open your garage door” or “send a text message”.
To put it simply, the future Siri would combine the intelligence of ChatGPT with perfect integration into the Apple universe. Apple plans to introduce LLM Siri with iOS 19 et macOS 16 in 2025.
However, if these new features appeal to you, be prepared to wait. The “LLM Siri” will not be available until spring 2026 according to Gurman.
