After seven years as a news anchor on TV 2, Siri Kleiven Strøm chooses to move to a position as a communications consultant at the University of Bergen.
The channel says so in a press release.
– My first day at Nyhetskanalen was the terrorist attack against Charlie Hebdo, and since then I have been able to cover the biggest news events in the world and in the country. It has been an honor and I have grown both as a journalist and as a person, says Kleiven Strøm.
She will be replaced by Guri Solberg, who will be the new main host of TV 2 Nyheter.
– This is a task that I take very seriously and with great pleasure, says Solberg.
