SiQuat Apologizes, Admits Wrong Procedure for Dismissing Employees

PT Management SiCepat Ekspres Indonesia opened its voice regarding the issue of mass layoffs (PHK) which had been going viral on social media. Management admits there was a procedural error.

Chief Marketing Corporate Communication Office SiCepat Ekspres, Wiwin Dewi Herawati apologized for the inconvenience.

“So first, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by this news,” he said at a press conference at his office, South Jakarta, Wednesday (16/3/2022).

“With this news, we would like to clarify, more precisely, admit that there was a procedural error in the layoff process which should not have been carried out on affected employees,” he explained.

He explained, the procedure was actually done for employees SiCepat which is problematic.

“As reported by friends and social media. Actually, we do the procedure for employees who have problems,” he continued.

He said his party would be responsible by providing compensation. Then, it will take a family approach.

“Then for those who are currently affected, SiCepat Ekspres is actually already responsible by providing compensation in accordance with applicable regulations. Then consolidating a family approach,” he said.
