The children’s awards were presented under the leadership of presenters Britt Dekker and Klaas van Kruistum. During the live show, Eyelar, Suzan and Freek and The Dean performed.
Feather-up-your-ass award
In addition to all the celebrities and programs, 10-year-old Azra Serdan from Maastricht also won a prize. She received the feather-in-your-ass award for raising 1,600 euros for a new well in Africa.
The prize is awarded every year to a child who has selflessly done something to improve the life of another. Azra had made key rings herself and sold them to raise money for the well.
The NPO Zapp Awards have been awarded since 2018. They are the youth awards for favorite shows, presenters, online stars and artists of the past year, determined by children. In 2020 it won youth news the prize for favorite youth program.
