Jannik Sinner (1st in the world ranking) and Jack Draper (25th) star in the first semi-final of the US Open 2024During the second set of the match, the world number one had a moment that worried all the spectators at Arthur Ashe and the television viewers.
When Draper served at 4-4 40-15, Sinner put in some incredible defence and then closed the rally in his favour with a hellish forehand passing shot. However, midway through the point, the Italian had a hard fall which hurt his left wrist.
In response, the Briton subsequently won the game and the doctor quickly arrived to treat the affected area of the 2024 Australian Open champion. To everyone’s relief, he was able to continue the match in top form.
