Jannik Sinner king of Shanghai. Blue dominates Novak Djokovic in two sets, 7-6 6-3, in less than an hour and 40 minutes of play, he collected his seventh title of the season, his third Masters 1000 and the 17th of his career.
Opens the match Djokovic holds the serve, followed by Sinner, and the first set passes like this, with a game each in perfect balance between the two champions, even if the Serbian manages to hold three serves to zero in a row. At that point Sinner serves to reach 5, Djokovic to 2 in mini break and 3 on serve, finishing with a bunt, then a volley mistake sends the Italian to 6 and on serve, lost: in the end the blue wins thanks to a strike from the Serbian.
In the second set it’s Sinner’s turn to start and the balance seen in the first seems to be restored even if Djokovic has to win his first serve with the advantages. The first break of the matchOf Sinner arrives in the fourth game, then holds serve and leads 4-1. It’s at 5-3 that the Italian ends the match in a matter of minutes.
