Jannik Sinner is preparing for next season in Dubai. The world number 1 is hard at work with all his staff in view of the Australian Openthe first Slam of the year scheduled in Melbourne from 12 to 26 January 2025. Sinner will present himself as reigning champion, last year by beating Daniil Medvedev in five sets at the end of an exciting final he won his first Major of his careerthen repeated in September by success at the US Open.
Sinner on the pitch for charity
The Australian Open will be the first official match of the season of the 23-year-old from South Tyrol, who will play his first matches of the new year in the week before the start of the Melbourne Slam. Sinner, in fact, will be involved twice during the course Opening Weekthe week during which, in addition to the Australian Open qualifiers, some charity matches are played (Alcaraz and Djokovic among others are also on the court). Sinner will take the field on January 7th at 4pm local time (6am in Italy) against the Australian Alexei Popyrin and will play a second match on January 10th (at 9am Italian time) against an opponent to be defined.
