The man (32) became Found dead meters underground, writes the British broadcaster BBC. The fatal accident happened yesterday during a company party in a swimming pool at a villa in the town of Karmi Yosef, not far from Tel Aviv.

In the amateur images that are circulating, people watch as all the water quickly disappears, including an air mattress, swimming tires and a bright pink inflatable flamingo. A man in swimming trunks falls over and is also pulled towards the hole, but quickly manages to get back up.

The man who was sucked into the hole and died would have fallen 13 meters deep. It would have taken Israeli emergency services hours to get him out.
The owners of the pool, a couple in their sixties, are said to have been arrested for negligence, resulting in the death of the 32-year-old man.
