In a new episode of ‘Buy without Watching’, viewers will see that single mother Alethea is urgently looking for a new home. She lives with her two daughters in an apartment in Hilversum where there is not much room.

This week, real estate agent Alex van Keulen is asked to find a single-family home for Alethea and her two daughters in Hilversum for a budget of 405,000 euros. They still sleep together in one room, but Alethea wants to be able to offer them both their own place to sleep. “Especially the older ones need their own space.”
Since Alethea is dependent on a family as a carer, she wants to live as close to them as possible, but it is difficult to find a house. “I’m really worried about that, because we’ve been looking for a while.” Despite Alex’s best efforts, he can’t find a suitable home for Alethea and her daughters, so Alethea has to make concessions. “It’s a bad thing if I arrive empty handed,” said Alex.
Alethea decides to let go of the neighborhoods they love. She finds it very interesting. “I don’t want to make bad decisions,” she says emotionally. This makes the chance of success much greater.
To his own surprise, right after the casual meeting, Alex comes across a suitable house for Alethea in one of her favorite neighborhoods. “It would be a big joke. If we’ve been looking for so long and then just around the corner we found her dream home.”
In this episode, Alex takes over for Martijn Krabbé for once, who cannot drive Alethea to her new home because of his vacation. The estate agent then takes on the role of presenter and even reveals the purchase price of the house, after which he immediately announces that it won’t be ‘such a generic renovation’ as Alethea knows from the programme. .
Even though a lot needs to be done to the house and there is not much budget left after buying it, Alethea falls in love immediately. “I think it’s a good house,” she says with a broad smile.
By selling her own house, Alethea can invest an extra 40,000 euros for the renovation. “I think it’s a lot of money, but it’s definitely worth it,” she said. Bob uses the money to tackle the stairs. That’s exactly what he needed to transform the house into a dream home. “Then I think we built her a separate house. “
When Alethea walks back into her house after months of waiting, she doesn’t know what she’ll see. “Gosh, this is not normal.” She is very happy with her new house and walks into all the rooms with emotion and wonder. “I’m very normal flabbergasted.
