Last week, Hana Zagorová diligently prepared with the accompanying band BOOM! BAND for the following concerts. “We didn’t play for a year, so we were full of expectations. Only the phone call that followed somehow froze us all and put us on the ground,” said bandleader Jiří Dvořák.
Due to her deteriorating health due to covid-19, the singer had to cancel all concerts on the recommendation of doctors until the end of October. Right on her birthday, September 6, Zagorová and her fans were to celebrate her 75th birthday in Lucerna. Unfortunately, this concert also had to be canceled.
“Hanka had a lot of surprises in Lucerna. It was mainly the guests who had to sing such a mixture of songs. For example, Vítězslav Hádl, Zmožek, Jirka Březík and Karel Vágner had to sing their hits,” Dvořák sighed.
“We were all looking forward to it. It all fell apart. All fans keep their fingers crossed for her,” said music producer Karel Vágner. Most of all, I definitely wish her to be healthy, “added singer Helena Vondráčková.
