Singer Laima Vaikule has recently performed three concerts in Israel, where her friends – Russian prima donna Alla Pugacheva and comedian Maksims Galkin – are currently staying, reports “Privatā Dzīve” magazine.

Laima Vaikule told the magazine about her impressions: “I had not been to Israel for a long time, and I was interested in going there. The singer has barely returned from an impressive and emotional trip. Vaikule said that the schedule was tight: “I had concerts three days in a row – in Tel Aviv, Gaida and Ashdod. It’s very difficult.”

The singer even admitted that “it’s usually never the case that I’m completely satisfied with my concert, but this was the one time when everything was wonderful.”

The concert in Tel Aviv was also attended by old friends – Alla Pugacheva and her husband Maksims Galkin, who left the country since the Russian invasion of Ukraine and publicly expressed their position against the war caused by the aggressor state on the territory of Ukraine. Currently, the couple has settled in Israel.

Vaikule admitted that the friends met every day. “I also invited them to the concert,” said the singer.

When Pugacheva and Galkin went to their seats in the hall, the visitors cheered them.

Ever since the Pugacheva family left their homeland, they have been slandered in the Russian press. It is written there that Alla is sick, moving with difficulty, that she has a huge hump, and that one of the most important reasons why Pugacheva moved to Israel is health problems. There she is being treated.

As if that wasn’t enough, last week there were reports that thieves had just visited the house of Pugacheva’s family in Israel and taken away everything valuable.

Vaikule said that she saw the life of her friends there completely different from what is portrayed in the Russian media.

“Alla and Maxim are doing great in Israel. Their children attend school there. Everything is OK. This summer they plan to go to Latvia again. I really hope that they will come,” said Vaikule.
