The body of singer Sherif Shaker, who passed away a short while ago, will be held tomorrow after noon prayers from the Hassan Sharbatly Mosque, according to what one of his friends announced on his social media page.

The young artist Sherif Shaker died after a journey of suffering with cancer, and the singer Ramy Gamal said through his personal account: “He passed away, may God have mercy on him, the father of a beautiful, white and pure heart who fought cancer for about 10 years. We count you among the martyrs before our Lord, O Lord.”

The artist Ali Al-Alfy also announced through his account the death of the singer Sherif Shaker, saying: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. Sharif has now recovered. He has gone to the Lord of the Worlds, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful. He has gone to receive the reward for his patience and his endurance of the fierce disease and the reward for helping people and supporting them with his words and stories. Sharif is no longer sick or ill. Another cancer fighter. Goodbye, my beautiful friend.”

Recently, Sherif announced his entry into intensive care through his account on the video and photo sharing site “Instagram,” saying: “Lord, I have been touched by harm, and You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. I have been in intensive care for about two weeks, and after all the rumors, I had a dye and tests, and last week they placed me on artificial respiration in intensive care.” Concentrated because breathing stopped… and I developed a severe lung infection. They removed a lot of water from the lung and installed a urinary sterilizer, and of course we went back to Pampers and bed life with it.”

Sharif added: “The cough is all phlegm and the phlegm is all blood, due to the lack of blood forms, which is originally due to the lack of immunity and the unexpected side effects of chemotherapy. I will come back stronger, God willing.”
