Singer S10 for the Netherlands to Eurovision Song Contest | Stars

entertainment">S10 is the stage name of 21-year-old singer Stien den Hollander. She broke through in 2019 with her debut album Snowsniper for which she received an Edison in the alternative category. This year she received the Pop Stipendium at Eurosonic Noorderslag, the prize for a promising pop artist or band.

entertainment">Last year she had a hit with the song Breathe You In, of which a remake also appeared with rappers Frenna and Kevin. She could also be heard on songs by the Belgian band Bazart and the rappers Lijpe and KA.

entertainment">Last week the rumor mill about the Dutch entry was already running at full speed. Friday suggested Veronica Inside-sidekick Rick Romijn on Radio Veronica to know for sure that Lakshmi would go to the Eurovision Song Contest. On the same day, Jaap Reesema announced that he and Armin van Buuren had submitted a song, but that their number had been dropped. At the weekend, the name of S10 was dropped for the first time.

entertainment">The 66th Eurovision Song Contest will be held next year from 10 to 14 May. The event takes place in the Italian city of Turin.
