After a career of almost six decades, on February 27, through a conversation with the program Al Rojo Vivo, ‘El Rey del Acordeón’ revealed his retirement from the musical stages.

“We have planned to do a tour in different places in the United States, Mexico and Central America… we have named it The Beginning of an End… I can’t continue playing and in contact with the public,” shared Ramón Ayala in that interview. .
‘El Rey del Acordeón’ mentioned that, in addition to his musical tour, he will launch a new corrido called ‘El Retén’.
“It is a 100% northern corrido… this corrido is very beautiful and I recommend it to you.”
Through her social networks, Ayala shared that her tour begins on March 9 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, United States. Tickets for this first event are available on the AXS platform and have a price of 55 to 166 dollars (936 to 2,826 Mexican pesos).
Likewise, for each performance of the latest tour of ‘The Accordion King’, musical instruments will be donated to charitable institutions.
“In each of the cities included in this tour, Ramón Ayala, together with the Hermes Music Foundation, will donate guitars to different charities. This important campaign has been called ‘Guitars for Peace,’” the singer said on his Facebook account.
