Singer Philip Kirkorov barred from buying Balenciaga items due to support of Putin

Singer Philip Kirkorov found himself on the “black list” of the fashion brand Balenciaga and now cannot buy its branded items. As the artist himself said during a conversation with his lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky, whose recording posted December 18 on YouTube, this is due to the fact that he “stayed in Russia and supported Vladimir Putin.”

“My stylist gets a call from Monaco. The girl says in a trembling voice: “Due to the fact that Mr. Kirkorov remained in Russia and supports President Putin, we can no longer sell him clothes.” They scared me with her bare ass. Well, you won’t, there will be others,” Kirkorov said.

After this incident, he decided to try to purchase the bag himself at the Balenciaga store in Dubai, but his payment was rejected by the system, issuing a “red flag.”

“They asked, maybe you have people nearby who can buy? I had people with me. But I say: “No need, I can live without your purse,” he said.

History repeated itself when he turned to his friend in the USA and tried to buy things there in his own name: he was refused again. The singer compared this entire incident with the story of “the refusal to sell a book to a Jew in Berlin in 1935.” Lawyer Dobrovinsky announced his intention to sue Balenciaga over this situation.
