Singer Nargiz Zakirova Explains Cancellation of European Tour Amid Controversy

Singer Nargiz Zakirova explained to fans the complete cancellation of concerts as part of her European tour. Corresponding post she published on her telegram channel.

She emphasized that the cancellation of the entire European tour, concerts of which were planned in the cities of Latvia, Germany, Prague and Dubai in November-December, was canceled not through the artist’s fault or her will. According to the singer, the news about the cancellation of performances due to low ticket sales is a dirty lie.

“The organizers of tours and concerts, having received an order from the Russian authorities to cancel, did not find it necessary to inform me about this personally. I really hope that the money spent on buying tickets was reimbursed to you,” wrote Nargiz.

She also mentions a recent post by a comedian Maxima Galkina*, who was not allowed into Bali. In a post on his social media page, he also claimed that he was not allowed into Indonesia after receiving a letter from the Russian government.

Nargiz’s subscribers on the social network doubted the veracity of the singer’s explanations.

Russia has nothing else to do but run around the world and cancel concerts of some artists,” “If now in Germany and other European countries they obey orders from Russia, that’s cool,” “It turns out that Russia is invulnerable, but all of Europe is under Putin’s heel ???”, “Tour now in front of each other. Cool!!!”, “Our government has nothing else to do but cancel concerts of female singers who escaped from Russia… You fed here, lived happily ever after, and now you’re whining and hating Russia. Apparently, there was a good feeder in Russia,” users write.

As reported EADailythe singer previously said that the “global tour” was being postponed, but she did not name the dates of new concerts.

On December 1, Nargis was scheduled to perform on stage at the Zabeel Theater at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hote in Dubai. One of the electronic platforms for selling tickets on the eve of the concert announced a promotion: when buying two tickets to the Nargiz concert, two more were given for free. But the concert was canceled anyway.

Nargiz’s next concert will take place in Yerevan on March 10 in the concert hall of the Aram Khachaturian Philharmonic.

Amid the news of the cancellation of the concerts, pranksters Vovan and Lexus published a conversation with the singer. Nargiz called herself a US patriot; the conflict with Ukraine was a personal war, from which she even became physically ill. She spoke about the suffering she experienced while working with Maxim Fadeev, according to the singer, the producer is still plotting her all over the world. The singer also said that she dreams of burning her Russian passport and is ready to get a tattoo with Zelensky and Stepan Bandera.
