“This song came out last spring. I originally published an acoustic version of the song in collaboration with Gati. He gave the song its own soundtrack, and I allowed it to do so organically. The video of the song was filmed by Kaspars Kambars. MØNTA produced the video story itself. It’s been on her mind for about a year. MØNTA: “We filmed for two days. It wasn’t easy to schedule the light, because I had to take into account that the sun disappears very quickly, but I needed late twilight, I had it in my head, and Kaspars had to do a little impossible. as the artists deserve, a stiff wind, black in the middle of the forest, with a team running up and down generators for electricity, etc. It was fun, but I must admit that at the end of the second day I concluded that I could not be an actress and not because of extreme circumstances because I am quite hardened, but because I can’t wait for the result for years, I was anxious several days after the video was filmed, because I can’t wait to see what it all came up with, and I have to say that the first time I saw the result, I experienced tears. out of satisfaction that what I have kept in mind for a year is finally visible visually. “

The song “The Other She” is the main single of the EP album, as well as the album itself is called “The Other She”. The singer has known this from the very beginning, when she wrote the song that it will also be called one of her albums. The album combines the songs of MØNTAS recorded and released so far in about a year. Including two unique duets. One with Siegfried Muktupāvels in MØNTA’s song “My Friend”, the other – Gata Mūrnieks’ song, which is also recorded in a duet with Gati, “While the Moon Waits in the Morning”.
