Mexico City.- During the Cover Night program gala, the singer Miguel Bosé shared that he has synesthesia, a neurological condition that changes the perceptions of the senses, which is why it is considered that they experience a different reality than other people.
The interpreter of “Lover Bandit” was encouraged to say that he has synesthesia when a contestant on the program openly said that he suffers from it, his revelation caused surprise and confusion among those present, since it is a little-known condition.
According to the National Institutes of Health, synesthesia allows people to experience all the senses at the same time while people only feel one at a time, so they see a different reality. It is associated with genes, since it is common for a whole family to have the same condition.
The Pennsylvania State University assures that synesthesia is not dangerous but it is not yet fully understood, so they continue to study it to understand what causes it.
In recent years Miguel Bosé has had health problems that have led him to move away from the stage, at the end of 2022 he underwent surgery for a herniated disc in a hospital in the country, since he has lived in Mexico for a few years after having problems with his Spanish Treasury.
