On July 14, the deluxe album of the local musician Marta entitled “Things that are still happening in my head” premiered. It contains versions of singles from the artist’s album released in the autumn of 2020, the musician’s representatives informed.
“I wasn’t ready to put an end to this album and move on, but it was time to release new music.
Together with producer DJ Rudd, I created “Things That Are Still Happening in My Head” as a thank you to the listeners and a beautiful ending to the story of “Things”, Marta shared.
In addition to the 9 songs of the original recording of the album “Things That Happen in My Head” released last year, the deluxe edition includes the song “Drama” in new sounds (with the participation of musician Tambura Pesto), the acoustic version of the song “Again You”, the previously released single “Prom ”(With the participation of singer Patrisha), as well as two brand new compositions“ Back Forward ”and“ Dance ”.
“Both new songs seem very uplifting and seasonal to me.
“Back forward” continues the theme of longing and dreaming, but “Dancing” is a song that will cheer you up when it seems that nothing is going well, “said the musician.
The video for the single “Back to Forward” in collaboration with the artist Emils Traulins and stylist Sintija Selickas was made, while the text video for “Dancing” was created by Marta herself.
