Singer Lou Deprijck fell in love a year ago with ‘his’ Vanessa, who is 51 years younger. The two met backstage after one of her shows. Vanessa is in showbiz herself and performs as a female Michael Jackson impersonator. “Some people look at us strange – because of the age difference – but we are strong together,” Deprijck reveals to ‘Het Nieuwsblad’. “Vanessa’s family was also shocked at first, but now it’s okay.”

For the Belpop legend, this will be his fourth marriage. He has already had a very turbulent love course. “My first wife died of cancer, my second wife – who is also the mother of my daughter – died in a fire in her house in Schaerbeek.
