Singer Kat’s first Christmas single “Plastic Christmas Tree” has released a music video in which the song’s story has been animated by Elīza Muzikante, the singer’s representatives informed.
Regarding the feelings when creating the song, Katō said: “Christmas is a time for reflection. I have noticed that people are getting tense as the holidays approach. Time should be planned so that you can visit relatives, find gifts feverishly and, following the ancient Latvian traditions, bring twelve different dishes to the table. I will not allow myself to say that it is not necessary, but when I personally evaluate what is important during the holidays, I most often come across values that cannot be found on store shelves. ”
“At Christmas, we are always looking for the biggest and best gifts to please our loved ones and not even our loved ones. In fact, when we run next year, we will not even remember the course of the previous holidays and what we received there. The commercial age cannot be blamed for this either. Indeed, especially this year, it would be enough for us to have the opportunity to be with our loved ones – in security, in harmony and perhaps with something delicious “at hand”, ”the song producer Kaspars Ansons shared his thoughts on the holiday season.

Katō is a singer from Latvia, whose last year was spent in creative work – an acoustic version of the single “I’m not scared anymore”, a self-filmed video for the song “Badastreiks” and a song “Go to the Wheel” in collaboration with composer Edgars Mākenas.
