Singer Karlīna, full name Karlīna Šēnknehte, has released a new song in English “BOOM”. It was written for the song contest “Supernova”, but did not make it to the final rounds.
The song “BOOM” was created in collaboration with the entertainment and art company “Vincet Entertainment”, its authors are Loreta Reide and Karlīna Šēnknehte, and the producers are Rolands Prīverts and Loreta Reide.

“The song is about reality and tells how life comes to a stage where you may have to look at yourself with the eyes of truth, understand that you can’t escape from yourself and your reality, and it can be a little scary,” says Karlina.
“The idea for the song came from Loretta Reid, in a small songwriting camp, writing everything that comes to mind and accumulate. Loretta recently started working as a producer, so she immersed herself in producing the song and making the lyrics for the song. It was a very harmonious process, we understood half a word. We decided to submit the song to “Supernova”, but it was not included in the list of semi-finalists. “
