Australia loses one of its most beloved singers. Judith Durham passed away last night in a Melbourne hospital. She suffered from a chronic lung disease, but complications proved fatal to her.
Durham turned 79. She became the lead singer of the Australian popular group The Seekers in 1963. The band has sold more than 50 million records worldwide.
