Singer Jennifer-Lee Dupuy, who was seen at the head of the music The Bodyguardspaying tribute to Mélanie Renaud on an evening of culture at the next Gala Dynastie.
She will sing one of her songs specifically to celebrate her contribution to Quebec music, but also to support the artist through her illness.
Suffering from incurable cancer, Mélanie Renaud should release a new album in the autumn.
In total, more than twenty artists will perform on stage during the different nights of the Gala Dynastie, which will be held on April 21 at the Cinquième Salle and April 27 at the Théâtre Maisonneuve.
Actress and author Catherine Souffront will be performing, at the premiere, Media evening, Change is coming by Sam Cooke. Täbï Yösha and DJ KidCrayola, on the turntables, will also be on stage this evening.

The opening number of the second night promises sparks. It combines hip-hop, opera, classical music and rock. The Obiora Ensemble, the young pianist Sem, SLM, Ruben Brutus and the dance group Mafa Studio will take part.
The night will also feature promising artists, including Radio-Canada’s 2023 music launch, Joseph Sarenhes, and Montreal singer Hawa B.

It is also intended to pay tribute to some of the builders of Quebec’s urban scene. Marième, Barnev, Ya Cetidon, Naïma Frank, Nicole Musoni, Maky Lavender, and Skandal will participate.
Hosted by Naadei, the media evening will take place on April 21 at the Cinquième Salle. Hosted by comedian Garihanna Jean-Louis, the Culture evening will take place on April 27 at the Théâtre Maisonneuve.
