The singer filed a complaint against a fan who kept coming to meet him in his hotel or during his concerts.
This 5-year injunction comes after another temporary injunction against this fan filed in October. According to official documents obtained from tmz extension, the singer began “concerns for her safety” in August after she showed up at his hotel in Houston, Texas. The police then had to intervene while a colleague of Jack Johnson had intervened on the scene.
The singer claims that this person always bought VIP tickets to get close to him, which she sent him and his management emails explaining that she was the victim of a financial plan. According to TMZ, the fan posed a risk to Johnson given her ability to track his movements and tour dates, which are readily available online.
The artist also says that this woman has been “chasing” him for years, despite her team sending him “several cease and desist orders to no avail.” Last week, Johnson testified in court to have the temporary restraining order extended to five years. Johnson, his wife Kim and their 16-year-old son are all now protected by the restraining order, which expires in 2027.
