The opening concert of the music recording “I Think of You” will take place on Friday, December 17, at 7 pm in the exhibition hall “Riga Art Space”, with the participation of musicians from the association DAGDA – Ieva Parša (voice), Krišjānis Norvelis (voice) piano), Pēteris Trasuns (viola) – and friends Linda Koopa (voice), Māra Vaickovska (voice), Gundars Grasbergs (narrator), as well as Riga Chamber Choir Hail Sun conducted by Andris Veismaņš and Jurģis Cābulis.

The soundscapes of the concert will be taken care of by the music director Tālis Timrots, the poetry will be read by Inese Zandere, Velta Kaltiņa, Māris Salējs and Roalds Dobrovenskis.

The concert will also feature DAGDA artists Jānis Porietis (trumpet, photo and video), Edgars Saksons (percussion), Aigars Červinskis (guitars) and Orag Silabriedis, the author of the DAGDAS idea (music). The visual idea for the disc was created by the artist Ieva Jurjāne.

The music recording, which has been made for almost two years, has become a compelling story of the Aspazija and Rainis era and life, which is told alongside the compositions of Ieva Parša and Pēteris Trasuns by Emīls Dārziņš’s classic silver . Ieva Jurjāne also has a special role – the hawk’s feather found in the design of the disc is also a reference to her experience in the world of Rainis and Aspzija and her encounter with DAGDA.

On Wednesday, “Singers” tells the singer about this beautiful event Ieva Parša.
