Damiano David, the charismatic singer of Måneskin, surprised his fans by announcing his first solo project. The 25-year-old, who led the Italian band to victory at Eurovision 2021, revealed the release of his first single titled Silverlinesscheduled for September 27th. Produced by renowned artist Labrinth, this title marks a new step in Damiano David’s career.
In an official press release, the Italian singer explained that this decision was “born from a need to express a more personal and vulnerable part of himself, a part that remains completely unexplored in Måneskin’s writing”. This solo project thus represents a new terrain for the artist, who now wishes to show another aspect of his musical personality, distinct from the flamboyant image he cultivates with Måneskin. Collaborating with Labrinth, known for wonderfully merging different sound universes, could allow Damiano David to reveal a new dimension of his talent.
