Chris Brown, already targeted by an investigation for acts of rape in Paris, is accused ofassaulting a young woman who wished to remain anonymous. Thursday, January 27, in Los Angeles, the accuser filed a civil complaint against the singer, whom she accused of drugging her and then raped end of 2020 in Florida. She is claiming $20 million in damages and says she is seeking “to obtain justice for herself”. The Complainant also hopes to “serve as an example” to other people who may have “been at the mercy” of the artist.
AFP was able to consult a copy of the complaint: according to this testimony, Chris Brown would have invited the supposed victim, a “choreographer, dancer, model and musical artist”, on a yacht moored at the home of rapper Diddy in Florida, on December 30, 2020.
The evening would then have degenerated into drama. The complainant confided that she drank a drink offered by the respondent which made her “disoriented and physically unstable”. The complainant then recounts having been brought into a room against her will, where the American singer would have removed her swimsuit bottom before raping her.
Another complaint for rape in a Parisian palace
The young woman would not have denounced these facts at first because she was a medical student and was embarrassed, told the specialized site TMZ his lawyers Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck. To the question of bringing these proceedings before a criminal court, the defense did not respond on Friday afternoon.
Chris Brown reacted to the complaint in a story posted on his Instagram account, writing “Every time I release music or a project ‘ILS’ (or “elles”, editor’s note) try to throw real bullshit”, without specifying to whom it refers.

Furthermore, the American star is targeted by rape charges in a Parisian palace in January 2019, about which a French investigating judge is investigating. Chris Brown is not the subject of any prosecution at this stage of the investigations and continues to deny the facts.
In 2009, the 32-year-old artist was convicted of hitting his then-girlfriend, the singer Rihanna, who was unable to attend the Grammy Awards ceremony due to her injuries.
