American singer Doja Cat is angry with actor Noah Schnapp, known from the Netflix series ‘Stranger things’, because he published messages – in which she asks for the contact details of his colleague Joseph Quinn – unsolicited.

The 26-year-old singer asked 17-year-old Schnapp via private messages on Instagram if he could put her in touch with Quinn (29). “Noah, can you tell Joseph to contact me,” it sounded. “Wait no, does he have a girlfriend?”. Schnapp responds with a laugh that she should contact Quinn herself, and sends her a link to his Instagram account.
The fact that Schnapp subsequently shared screenshots of that conversation with his 30 million fans on TikTok, however, does not go down well with Cat. “Noah is still a kid – I don’t even know how old he is – and at that age you make mistakes,” she said in a comment. “He is incredibly socially maladjusted, and I feel betrayed that he has private messages with the world. Maybe he’s a snake. I didn’t see him like that: I assumed he chill would be, but then he shares information that I don’t feel comfortable with.”
Schnapp has not yet responded to the fuss, but has deleted the message in question.
