The group members of the Italian rock band Måneskin also kissed each other during their performance at the Eurovision Song Contest. But it is no coincidence that singer Damiano David and guitarist Thomas Raggi kissed each other intimately in front of the cameras during a performance in Poland. After all, the Polish LGBTI community is no better off than that in Hungary, where a new law was recently introduced banning so-called ‘gay propaganda’ for minors.
“Everyone should be able to do this without fear,” the singer exclaimed after the kiss. ‘Everyone should be completely free to be who they are fucking want to be. Love is never wrong.’ The hall erupted in cheers. The video has since been shared eagerly on social media.
The band, which has already released two albums in Italy and achieved 22 platinum singles, will be on stage at the Lokerse Feesten on Thursday 5 August. The tickets sold out in no time.
