Singer and film director Liene Greifane
Latvian singer, film director Liene Greifane published a post in Russian on the soc website, in which she said that she is ready to say goodbye to Sochi, where she lived until now, and move back to her favorite city, Moscow. She is also ready for new jobs and challenges!
“Thank you to Sochi for an unforgettable three years. I have fallen in love with this city very much. But it’s time to move on. Moscow, my love. All my dear friends, loved ones, cameramen, artists, actors, producers… I didn’t sit in Sochi with my hands in my lap, I wrote, wrote and wrote. I have 4 full-length screenplays, there are many ideas and thoughts. Who wants to create, who wants to film, and so on, let’s meet and think together. Also, I am ready to help with your projects. I really long for the cinema, for filming. I’m like a starving dog, give me the people, take the cameras and leave!” – Liene writes on Facebook.
Let us remind you that several years ago, Liene Greifane moved to Moscow to study film direction. After her studies, she settled in Russia. Her husband and her two sons live there with her. The youngest son was born only in April of this year.
But Liene’s eldest son, Sebastian, has been living in the USA for several years, together with his father, Arti Bronuš.
Along with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Liene also expressed her opinion that she does not plan to move back to live in Latvia, because here no one can offer her such a job and pay for living a normal life and supporting her family.
