Singapore refuses UAS to gain followers until the deadly shooting at Texas elementary school

Singapore be outspoken about the refusal of entry Master Abdul Somad (UAS) to shooting death at Robb Elementary School, TexasUnited States, became the international news spotlight Tuesday (24/5).

Singapore: We Won’t Let Maxam UAS People Get Followers Here

Singapore’s Minister of Law and Home Affairs, K. Shanmugam, insisted his country would not allow people like Ustaz Abdul Somad (UAS) to gain followers in the country.

“We will not allow people like Somad to have the opportunity to gain local followers or engage in activities that threaten the security and harmony of our community,” Shanmugam said in response to UAS’ expulsion, as quoted by The Straits Times.

He then asserted, “Our position is very simple. People like this, we will not let them in.”

New Evidence Shows Al Jazeera Journalists Targeted by Israel

Nearly two weeks after the death of Palestinian-American reporter Shireen Abu Akleh, a number of media reconstructions support Palestinian claims that the Al Jazeera journalist was killed as a result of being targeted by Israeli forces.

One of them is a reconstruction by The Associated Press which obtained several videos and photos on the morning of May 11.

The pictures and videos show several residents and journalists on a narrow street. The journalists were also seen wearing helmets and vests that read ‘PRESS’. In no time, the video displays panic over gunfire.

Israeli Judge Allows 3 Jews to Pray at Al-Aqsa Complex

Israeli Court Judge, Zion Sahrai, found three Jewish youths who worshiped at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound not guilty, Monday (23/5).

The decision defies the status quo that has been applied by Israel to avoid conflict at the holy site.

Previously, the police accused the three men of violating a long-standing security agreement, in which Israel forbids Jews from praying in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

RI Asks Saudi Arabia to lift the ban on traveling to Indonesia

The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Jeddah, Eko Hartono, said that relations between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia could be disrupted following Riyadh’s decision to ban Saudi citizens from going to Indonesia.

“This is quite disturbing the efforts of bilateral relations, especially in the fields of business and tourism,” said Eko through a short message to Mr CNNIndonesia.com on Monday (23/5) night.

Eko considers the Saudi reason for forbidding its citizens to go to Indonesia and 15 other countries because of the development of the Covid-19 pandemic, which makes no sense.
