“Sing my Song” concerts will be postponed to 2022

The seventh season of “Sing my Song – The Exchange Concert” was a complete success and should contain four live shows. But exactly these have now been postponed by eleven months.

What a success!
Between the beginning of May and the end of June 2020, the popular music show “Sing my Song – The Exchange Concert” was broadcast on the VOX station and made millions of viewers all over Germany laugh, cry and be amazed. As with the previous six seasons of the show, one of the musicians was appointed host and invited some of his colleagues to his home to perform each other’s songs. Michael Patrick Kelly opened his door to, among others, singer-songwriter LEA, Selig frontman Jan Plewka, rapper MoTrip and heartthrob Max Giesinger and was able to spend a few days with the team.

“I don’t think I’m leaning far out of the window when I say that the time spent doing ‘Sing my song’ is one of the most beautiful and enriching experiences of my life. I’m really happy to be part of this gang and to have recorded this season in a time when you could still cuddle in groups without a guilty conscience. I hope that we can bring some of the ‘magic’ of this format into your living room ”, wrote Max Giesinger after the recordings of“ Sing my song – The exchange concert ”via Instagram and was allowed to listen to rapper MoTrip, for example, who had his own hit “80 million” had played again:

Artists go on tour
In line with the broadcasts of the TV show, there was also an album called “Sing my Song – Das Tauschkonzert – Volume 7”, which even made it to the top of the German charts in the week of May 29, 2020. And because fans are asking for so much more than just the episodes of the seventh season, all the musicians have decided on a joint XS tour. In February 2021 they should actually give four concerts. But thanks to the ongoing Corona crisis, that coup has now been postponed to 2022. All tickets should continue to be valid.
