The main guest artist will be the German DJ Westbam, who will be joined on stage by Eastbam or Roberts Gobziņš. Musicians from Lithuania, Ukraine, Israel, Tanzania and Canada will perform. Good nature continues to develop in the direction of environmental protection and sustainability – this year, waste will be sorted here and a system of deposit glasses will be introduced.

Friday, August 5, at the Cēsu Art Festival concert Hildegard’s Meditations the vocal group led by Antra Dreģe will take part Birds, organist Kristīne Adamaite, singer Anta EnĖele and percussionist Virginija Laube-Vītiņa. The artistic director of the program, Antra Dreģe, says: “The center of the concert will be the “green spirituality” of the medieval nun and composer Hildegard of Bingen and her music, which the group Birds has a special place in the repertoire.” Hildegard said: “There is a power from eternity, and this power is green.
