Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Video Bahar bin Smith who gave a lecture at an event and was attended by his congregation was again viral on social media.
In the video, Bahar once satirized the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman. Bahar seemed to question Dudung’s progress during the eruption of Mount Semeru in East Java some time ago.
Bahar accused Dudung of not helping people affected by the disaster. In fact, he claimed that FPI volunteers were in that location.
Bahar’s viral video then garnered various responses, including someone wearing an Army uniform. The man, whose identity has not been identified, reminded Bahar and asked Bahar not to become an instigator against fellow Muslims.
“I am a Muslim, you are also a Muslim, you are a cleric but insult your fellow human beings. Especially the TNI. What is the relationship between Semeru and billboards? Don’t just incite Muslims. You clash with the TNI and the people. I am looking for you, bib,” said the man in TNI uniform whose video was uploaded. YouTube account Citizens quoted Monday (20/12).

Not only one man in TNI uniform reminded Bahar. Another man in TNI uniform also asked Bahar not to provoke Muslims in Indonesia.
For him, TNI soldiers have contributed a lot to help the victims of the recent Semeru eruption.
“You are Muslim, many of us in the TNI are Muslim too. Don’t you provoke Muslims throughout Indonesia. You insult our leaders. What do you mean? What is the relationship between billboards and Semeru? You don’t see us all working hard in Semeru. If you insult our leaders, it means you are bad for all of us TNI soldiers,” said another man in TNI uniform.
CNNIndonesia.com tried to contact the Head of the Indonesian Army Information Service, Brigadier General Tatang Subarna to ask for an explanation about the man in the TNI uniform. Until this news was revealed, Tatang had not responded.
