WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, JAKARTA-– Sociologist Musni Umar responded to the viral screenshot of Jonathan Latumahina’s tweet, the father of David, a victim of child abuse by the Director General of Taxes.
Musni Umar said that even though they differ in political views, there is no need to insult or belittle one another.
Because, he said, everyone has the same rights in a democracy, including choosing who they support

Musni Umar has also forgiven Jonathan, who is known by Ansor officials, for his indecent tweets.

On one occasion, Jonathan Latumahina via his Twitter account @seeksixsuck replied to one of Musni Umar’s tweets with sentences that were considered insulting and condescending.
“Floods occurred everywhere and the floods were severe. Only Jakarta was highlighted and only Anies was insulted. Try to be fair and right…,” wrote Musni Umar via the @musniumar account on October 10, 2022.

Jonathan’s tweets went viral again following the incident of abuse that befell his son.
Musni Umar said that he had forgiven the Ansor official.
