In the Youth category, the current 2019 national champion in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Kevin Cantabrana Villegas showed his good condition and resources to beat Santiago González of Baja California by unanimous decision at welterweight (69kg.) He will face at al final to Yordi Uriel Casanova from Baja California Sur.
While in the women’s branch, Esmeralda Patiño won by unanimous decision against Sheyla Moreno (48-51kg) from Sonora.
In another result, Alfredo Alvarado from the municipality of Escuinapa beat Andrés García from Baja California in the Lightweight (60kg) and Óscar Enrique Álvarez de Sonora will be measured for the ticket to the national phase.

While Iván Moreno beat Martín Arturo Lara de Sonora in the light heavyweight (81kg).
In an extremely close fight and by split decision, Guadalupe Ruiz de Ahome was left with the victory against Ángel Roberto Ureña of Baja California Sur at light welterweight (64kg). He will play the final against Kevin Arvizu from Sonora.
In the Youth category Miguel Ángel Morales from Culiacán beat José Julián Anglo from Baja California Sur in Bantamweight (54kg). He will look for the title of the regional and the ticket to the national phase against Jesús Carlos Sánchez from Baja California.

Omar Sánchez from Salvador Alvarado retired early in the fight, just in the first round to Jesús Domínguez from Sonora in the Lightweight (60kg), his rival in the final will be Roberto Ibarra from Baja California Sur.
The Mazatlan Joel Daniel Ávila beat Wallace Pereyda from Sonora in the Pin weight (44-46kg) to access the next round where he will face Juan Carlos Torres from Baja California Sur.
For his part, Kevin Ontiveros at Ahome’s Light Flyweight (48kg) advanced by winning his match against Gamaliel Padilla of Baja California Sur. He will face Juan Diego García de Sonora.
Amir Arce, from Guasave, beat Óscar Cortez, from Sonora, in the Light Bantamweight (52kg) and will face Diego Orea from Baja California in the final.
