Sinaloa has good control of Covid-19, currently has 210 cases, of which around 7 patients are hospitalized, so far this year there have been 11 deaths, said the Secretary of Health, Cuitláhuac González Galindo.
“We have good control, right now we have 210 cases, we have around seven hospitalized cases, they are patients who have other illnesses and well, it is tied to Covid, and so far this year there have been 11 deaths,” he added.
“The truth is that hospitalizations have been very low, we would like mortality to not be positive, not to be those numbers, but it is still low compared to other years.”
He added that the best thing that can be done to prevent Covid infections has already been done, which was vaccination, and fortunately Sinaloa is one of the states with the best vaccination coverage.
“We have already done the best we can do, which is vaccination. Fortunately, Sinaloa is one of the states with the best vaccination coverage, above 97 percent, and that gives peace of mind to the state,” he said.
“What we do have to do is to get patients who have not been vaccinated to get vaccinated, which is a very small number.”
