Simpsons predict coronavirus and hornets in one chapter

The Simpson they did it again, in addition to predicting the coronavirus pandemic originated in Asia, they also did it with the hornets, everything happening at the same time as it is in reality.

In which chapter can you see?

At season 4 episode 21, which emerged in 1993, it is spoken of a disease originated in Asia (in Japan in the series), which arrives in Springfield by means of some packages.

The disease known as the Osaka Blue Germ, generates a strong flu, with symptoms similar to those of the covid-19, although much less aggressive, since there is never any mention of a deceased.

In that same episode, citizens they ask for a cure and when Dr. Hibbert says it “doesn’t exist”, these look for “placebos” in a cargo truck, where they break a box from which killer bees emerge (instead of hornets), which begin to attack citizens.

Although they are not exact predictions, it is curious that there are so much similarity with what is currently happening in the world.
