It doesn’t just happen at the change of seasons, mosquito vectors Aedes Aegypti always there all year round. This was revealed by Dr Tedjo Sasmono, Head of the Dengue Research Unit at the Eijkman Institute of Molecular Biology. Although in the dry season the population of mosquitoes carrying Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD) is a little, but still watch out.
Mosquito Aedes Aegypti this is very massive spread in tropical countries, including Indonesia. Moreover, the breeding has the potential for mosquitoes to carry dengue hemorrhagic fever. Different from house mosquitoes Culex sp which only breeds in summer.
Indonesia with its tropical season is very vulnerable to dengue epidemic attacks. This is believed by the World Health Organization or World Health Organization (WHO) that DBD bring major problems in tropical and sub-tropical countries. Mosquito DBD biting generally in the morning and evening.

As for tips against mosquitoes Aedes Aegypti, the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) initiated the movement 3M namely draining, closing, and exploiting.
Drain the tub or water reservoir at least once a week. In addition, it is accompanied by brushing the water reservoir and cleaning the bathroom to prevent mosquito eggs from sticking to the bathroom wall or water reservoir.
Close the water storage container or hole that has the potential to become a rainwater reservoir, such as an empty pot in the yard.
Utilize used goods by recycling, and don’t let them scatter until they have the potential to be a breeding ground for mosquitoes Aedes Aegypti
Another way that can also be done against mosquitoes Aedes Aegypti including planting mosquito repellent plants, sleeping using mosquito nets, using repellent/lotion mosquito repellent, no hanging clothes, setting traps ovitrap / mosquitotrap, and larvicidation (extermination of mosquito larvae) in places that are difficult to drain/cover by sprinkling lavarcide powder. If fogging is to eradicate adult mosquitoes, larvicidation aims to eradicate mosquito larvae or larvae in shelters that are difficult to clean or drain.
Whatever prevention is done, we still have to be vigilant by always keeping the house and environment clean so they don’t become mosquito nests Aedes Aegypti.
