Simple Plan, the Canadian legends of punk rock, will be returning to Prague at the beginning of next year as part of their tour for their latest album, Harder Than It Looks. They will be joined by American bands Mayday Parade and State Champs, making it a pop-punk extravaganza.
According to the band, fans can expect to hear the best songs from their new album, as well as their old and beloved tracks. They also plan to add some jamming sessions to celebrate the year 2024, as it marks the 25th anniversary of the band’s formation and the 20th anniversary of the release of their second album, Still Not Getting Any.
Simple Plan was formed in 1999 in Montreal. The current members of the band are lead vocalist Pierre Bouvier, guitarists Jeff Stinco and Sébastien Lefebvre, and drummer Chuck Comeau. Since their inception, Simple Plan has gained fame for their catchy melodies and lyrics that resonate with young people and their problems. In the early 2000s, they were at the forefront of the new wave of pop-punk music alongside bands like Green Day and Blink-182.
Some of their most famous hits include songs like “Perfect,” “Welcome to My Life,” and “Untitled (How Could This Happen to Me?).” The band is also known for their commitment to charitable projects and collaborations with organizations focused on helping young people.
