Last month, American technology giant Microsoft announced that it would introduce graphics and image designing software called “Designer” to the software applications market, which comes in two flavors. Microsoft will provide a free version and at the same time launch a high-end version, incorporating it into Microsoft’s “Office” family.
Recently, enthusiastic netizens shared that Microsoft Designer has entered its internal testing phase. Below is a screenshot of the mail and software interface:
When users are in the Designer software, they can use the templates within and quickly design and process, generate images that can be used in social media.
Microsoft’s design software aims to compete with another design software ‘Canva’, which holds a dominant position in the industry. It boasts 100 million monthly active users. Canva’s development headquarters are located in Sydney, Australia. In a financing transaction last year, the company was valued at up to US$40 billion, making it one of the most valued private technology companies in the world.
