A remarkable journey

Simone Thibault holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Ottawa and a master’s degree in social work from Carleton University. Her diplomas in hand, she was notably the director of La Maison d’amitié, which was the only refuge for Francophone women in Ottawa at the time. After going through a director position at the Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Center, she obtained the leadership position at CSCC where she achieved the last 14 years of her career.
