Drawing inspiration from Prince, Bruno Mars and Dua Lipa, as well as from Jean Leloup, the artist continues his quest to develop a sound worthy of international productions. His declared intention is to play with the codes of pop to reinterpret them as best he can. If Simon Kearney’s ambitions have no boundaries, his identity remains firmly rooted in the reality of Quebec.

Bright arrangements, sunny grooves and uninhibited lyrics that evoke the need to pursue one’s dreams and face every day without a tomorrow. This describes the album America through each of its 12 original songs in French. This proposal aims to be the culmination of the compositional process of an artist always ready to reinvent himself. A first extract entitled Jean Leloup went on a long tour over the summer on commercial radio.

“I wanted to talk about this thirst for life that lives in all of us. Go on a road trip with your best friends, experience love at 100 miles per hour, naively believe in the Quebec-American dream or simply celebrate with your idol, “says the artist from L’Anciennne-Lorette to portray her new offering. He will also go on tour this fall until next spring, to present the fruit of his creative work to the public.

Simon Kearney has released his debut album purple life in 2015 at just 19, followed by open house in 2019.
